As a young man, my grandfather didn’t have much. As an adult, he wanted all four of his kids to experience what he could not as a kid. As a result, he made it his mission to take his family to as many Broadway shows as he could. I guess you could say that this is where my love of all things theater comes from, because this left an impression on my dad. From 1961, my dad started collecting his playbills, and from my first show, he encouraged me to do the same.

This blog is a tribute to the shows that he saw, and will continue with the ones that I have seen, through the Playbills that we jointly have collected.
